After graduating college, Dan served overseas in the Army and began his career in finance. He turned a failing company into a global brand while founding an innovative tech startup. Dan became Finance Chairman for the Nevada Republican Party and then successfully ran for Nevada State Treasurer. As Treasurer, Dan opposed the ill-conceived Commerce Tax; battled for Education Savings Accounts; revamped the 529 college savings program; and, singularly called out spending $350 million in state money on a fake automobile plant. 

 

Since its early days, Las Vegas has changed and so has our nation. Too many Americans have lost faith in our country because Congress and the Biden Administration have failed them. Dan believes we have a duty to back our military and our fellow citizens that's why he will encourage young Americans to commit to national service, in a military or non-military role, and support term limits to remind Congress and the Courts that no one should have endless, unchecked power. Dan will stand up for a federal tax system that invests in and empowers the middle class. And, he will close the border until Congress fixes our broken immigration system. Above all, Dan will stand up to entrenched politicians who have failed our country and sacrificed American exceptionalism for mediocrity.

 

At home, Dan will fight for schools and public safety by strengthening Nevada’s education and criminal justice systems. And he will continue to invest in the creation of both cutting edge new jobs and the hospitality, gaming and services economy that has made Las Vegas the modern metropolis it has become. Dan has never backed down. He never will.
